Dr. Eric Brownlee was raised right here in the Wenatchee. He attended Central Washington University where he achieved a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. Subsequently, he worked as a veterinary assistant at Cascade Veterinary Clinic to gain experience in the field from the ground up. He worked several years thereafter as an environmental chemist in both Washington State and California, but made the ultimate decision to pursue his dream of becoming a veterinarian.
Eric attended the University of Glasgow, School of Veterinary medicine in Scotland. While completing his extensive training, he and his wife were given the opportunity to experience the beautiful country and culture. Their two children, Oliver and Isla, were also born during this time which was a welcome challenge and added new elements to their adventures. With the achieved degree, Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery, he is licensed by the North American Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners, Washington State Veterinary Board of Governors and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Dr. Brownlee is thrilled to have been given the opportunity to work in his hometown with the clinic and doctors who encouraged him throughout his veterinary training. Being here has allowed Eric to reconnect with the community that he loves while being close to friends and family. He is also eager to be able to continue to enjoy the many outdoor activities the Wenatchee Valley has to offer including skiing/snowboarding, hiking and fishing.
