Emily Harbury, LVT
Emily Harbury is a native of the Upper Wenatchee Valley. After graduating from Cascade High School in Leavenworth, she entered the Veterinary Technician Program at Yakima Valley Community College. When she graduated in 2007 as a Licensed Veterinary Technician she accepted a job offer in Anchorage, Alaska to follow her twin passions of animal care and exploring the outdoors.
In Anchorage, she worked as Veterinary Technician at a 24 hour Emergency Veterinary Care Hospital. She came to love living and working in Alaska, but it eventually came time for her to return home to be closer to family. In 2013 she left Alaska, moved back to the Wenatchee Valley and began working as a Veterinary Technician at Bavarian Village Veterinary Clinic. She is happy to be back in her home town and hiking the familiar woods of the Okanogan Wenatchee National Forest. She owns 2 rescue dogs, a 13 yr old lab/pit mix and a 6 yr old American bulldog mix. Both dogs are good hiking buddies and have traveled many trail miles with Emily.
Emily enjoys training and competing with her dogs in NADAC agility trials. She also owns a happy flock of backyard chickens.
